JBL says WWE really isn't bringing in announcers for Worlds Collide

There have been mixed reports about whether or not WWE is planning to air this weekend’s (Sept. 26) Worlds Collide event live on YouTube, or if it will be made available later on, perhaps for members of Club WWE. AAA commentator and WWE legend JBL addressed the topic on Something to Wrestle. He said WWE isn’t bringing in announcers to Chicago for the event. They initially asked him to be there, but “things changed so much,” and now he thinks he’ll be doing voiceover work for the event after the fact. JBL states that he doesn’t know what WWE’s broadcast plan is for the show. This doesn’t sound like the most effective way to counterprogram AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, which also takes place in the Chicago area that very same night.
