Steve Maclin bailed out of jail in Canada, picked up by angry wife
Steve Maclin crossed the line. Last week, he was arrested for attacking the ringside doctor in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. Maclin can handle Canadian jail. He can handle the raging feud with Adam Copeland. The scariest part may have been when Maclin was picked up by angry wife Deonna Purrazzo outside the slammer. On the latest episode of MLP Mayhem, the story updated with two surprises. First was Purrazzo as she read him the riot act about his mayhem. Maclin feebly tried to explain his actions. Purrazzo wasn’t putting up with his baloney. She actually said that she would have let him rot in prison. The leads to the second surprise. Maclin assumed Purrazzo bailed him out. It was actually Copeland who did the good deed. Cope wants to make sure the fight is on at the MLP Northern Rising PPV in Toronto on October 3. Former NXT champ wins MLP Canadian title from Gisele Shaw
Card subject to change. Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is setting up for the Northern Rising PPV on October 3 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. One of the marquee bouts was supposed to be Gisele Shaw defending the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship against Nikki Storm (aka Nikki Cross in WWE). Along the way, Shaw officially signed with the NWA. That seemed to suggest a title change was coming. Little did we know that the title change happened earlier than expected on the latest episode of MLP Mayhem. Controversial wrestler Priscilla Kelly (aka Gigi Dolin in WWE/NXT) was granted a shot to make up for Storm cheating in the #1 contender bout. Kelly made the most of the moment to win the Canadian title from Shaw. Kelly persevered to kick out of the Shock and Awe finisher. Shaw charged for a Shining Wizard. Steve Maclin ‘arrested’ in Canada
Steve Maclin brought mayhem to Canada, and he paid the price by being arrested. Maclin has a date to fight Adam Copeland in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling at the Northern Rising PPV on October 3 in Toronto. In the meantime, Maclin is running amok. He trespassed into AEW to ambush Cope backstage last week in the USA. Maclin didn’t get arrested for that assault. Apparently, Canadian cops are less likely to allow law-breakers to slide. This week on the MLP Mayhem television episode, Maclin wrestled Rhino, but there wasn’t much wrestling. Maclin attacked Rhino from behind on stage. When Rhino fought back in the ring, Maclin pepper sprayed him. Rhino still wanted the match. Even with blurred vision, Rhino hammered clotheslines. Maclin pulled the referee into Rhino and hit a low blow on the beast. The ref waved off the bout. Maclin was just getting started with the violence.
