There’s never any time to waste when rumors await. Lead Rumor: WWE/TNA partnership talk It was just the other day that rumors had Dave Meltzer was speculating that WWE would be moving on from the partnership with TNA now that it’s become clear they won’t be opposing Dynamite on Wednesday nights and haven’t done much to hurt AEW. That was, apparently, the reason for the partnership from the beginning. Well, now that all the teams in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic have been announced and TNA is suspiciously absent from the field, folks are curious. To that end, WrestleVotes had some word on the situation. They say the partnership between WWE and TNA is not over but it’s definitely not as strong as it once was, and it’s simply not as important to NXT as it was even six months ago. It’s been a while since we checked in on a WWE Top 10 video, and when I happened across the latest I knew I had to share. It covers the “nastiest rivalries of the 2020s,” what they called the “10 most epic rivalries” over that time period. I was certain I knew who they would put at number one, and I was wrong. Malakai Black on his ‘dud year’ back in WWE after ‘mountains’ of promises
After a pretty controversial run in AEW, most of us expected Malakai Black to get a decent push in his second stint with WWE as Aleister Black. He started with a winning streak on SmackDown, but the writing was probably on the wall when he didn’t make it into the Money in the Bank ladder match or the King of the Ring tournament. What followed was a long feud with Damian Priest he ultimately lost, and despite a couple shots at then United States champ Ilja Dragunov, Black never really found himself in the midcard title mix. Even with those signs, Black’s post-WrestleMania 42 exit was a shocker. That’s probably why the 41-year-old Dutchman hasn’t said too much about his second WWE run and release while restarting his career on the independent scene in the United Kingdom. The War Raiders were overconfident heading into Mexico City, and they bit off more than they could chew. After retaining the AAA World Tag Team Championship against Damien Priest & R-Truth on Friday night for WWE SmackDown, Erik & Ivar headed to Triplemania 34 for an open challenge on Sunday night (Sep. 13, 2026). New champions were crowned. The open challenge was answered by the Wagner brothers, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno. After a busy week that included Bayley returning to Raw, Damian Priest turning on R-Truth, and Royce Keys setting the Usos’ car on fire, a lot of fortunes were changed. With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week: Stock Down #3: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan lost the women’s world championship to Stephanie Vaquer at a house show in Chile last night, thanks to crooked referee Becky Lynch. It’s doesn’t mean gloom and doom is on the horizon for Liv after losing the title in a screwjob in the babyface’s home country.
