Young Bucks are the first ever 4-time AEW world tag team champions after brutal TLC dream match
The AEW commentators called it a “generational dream match” when the Young Bucks, FTR, and AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland & Christian Cage fought in a 3-way ladder match tonight (Sept. 26) at All Out. This match was a callback to Edge and Christian’s famous TLC matches from their WWF days. Needless to say, there were lots of thrilling sequences involving tables, ladders, and chairs. Steve Maclin bailed out of jail in Canada, picked up by angry wife
Steve Maclin crossed the line. Last week, he was arrested for attacking the ringside doctor in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. Maclin can handle Canadian jail. He can handle the raging feud with Adam Copeland. The scariest part may have been when Maclin was picked up by angry wife Deonna Purrazzo outside the slammer. On the latest episode of MLP Mayhem, the story updated with two surprises. First was Purrazzo as she read him the riot act about his mayhem. Maclin feebly tried to explain his actions. Purrazzo wasn’t putting up with his baloney. She actually said that she would have let him rot in prison. The leads to the second surprise. Maclin assumed Purrazzo bailed him out. It was actually Copeland who did the good deed. Cope wants to make sure the fight is on at the MLP Northern Rising PPV in Toronto on October 3. Will Ospreay feels like the f***ing champion. That was the money line to hype his world title defense against Jon Moxley for All Out. The go-home episode of Dynamite (Sep. 23, 2026) also featured Hangman Page picking at old scabs with Swerve Strickland, Adam Copeland delivering a conchairto, Darby Allin and Steven Borden high in the rafters, and more from Fishers Event Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The f***ing champion Will Ospreay was in a good mood to open the show, and he offered Mike Bailey a spot in the United Empire. Speedball accepted with aplomb. New best bruvs! Cope was ambushed backstage at AEW Dynamite
He didn’t show up on our screens during Dynamite last night (Sept. 9), but it seems Adam Copeland was on hand in Athens, Georgia’s Akins Ford Arena. Like a lot of his colleagues in the business, the WWE Hall of Famer and reigning AEW Tag champ was probably on-hand to support Rebel and her ALS-fighting efforting. But the Canadian formerly known as Edge was also there to help set-up his debut for the relaunched Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling in his home country, which takes place at the historic Maple Leaf Gardens on Oct. 3. The build for that started last week, when Cope called out former TNA World champion Steve Maclin for talking trash about The North. Christian Cage’s friend and tag partner laid out his Canuck bonafides (“I piss Molsons and maple syrup”, says Cope) for the U.S. Marine veteran, then asked if Maclin had “a set” to face him at MLP Northern Rising next month.
