Former Wyatt Sicks members revealed as mystery attackers in TNA
Rumors speculated that the men formerly known as Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy from the Wyatt Sicks in WWE were on the radar to arrive in TNA. The chatter was true. Those goons were revealed as the mystery attackers on Impact (Sep. 24, 2026). Mystery attackers ran rampant over the past two month in the Impact Zone. Prior the live episode of Impact, TNA posted a recap of all the attacks. For over a month, people have been attacked backstage every single week. Simone “Ava” Johnson, aka The Rock’s daughter, hopes her in-ring career isn’t over
She stepped away from the business after her WWE run ended at the start of this year, but Simone Johnson has occasionally talked about her experience in developmental and NXT. Not on something as “pro wrestling” as Cody Rhodes What Do You Want To Talk About? podcast, however. A couple years into her five-year stint in developmental, Johnson debuted on NXT television as Ava Raine, and aligned with Joe Gacy’s Schism faction. Her name was shortened to Ava, and she wrestled three televised matches during that time, only one of which was a singles match (a two minute loss to Ivy Nile). After Schism’s story ended, Ava became NXT’s General Manager. I thought Johnson grew into that role pretty well, but opinions varied. Mystery attacker alert! We finally have a hint. Week by week, stars and jabronies alike were maliciously attacked backstage in TNA. The latest victim was Matt Hardy on Impact (Sep. 17, 2026). Keep your eyes peeled on the background. It isn’t just one mystery attacker. It appears to be a two-person job. Two sets of legs walked behind the crime scene. When thinking who could be behind this carnage, the assumption turns to the free agent wire. Rumors recently emerged that TNA is interested to bring in Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy.
