TBS Champion Persephone is not a coward, so she issued an open challenge for (almost) anyone inside or outside of AEW to show up tonight (Sept. 26) at All Out and challenge for her belt. Lots of fans were hopeful that the mystery opponent would turn out to be former WWE star and current free agent Kairi Sane. Those folks will have to wait a bit longer for KAIRI to show up in AEW, because it was actually former TNA star Dani Luna making her AEW debut to answer the call. What’s going on with the AEW contract status for some of the EVPs as well as The Acclaimed? Let’s see what today’s rumors have to say about it! Top rumor of the day: Young Bucks and Kenny Omega’s future, and expiring AEW contracts On the latest episode of Talk’N Shop, Karl Anderson said AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks are going to be “winding down real soon.” He mentioned that Omega and the Bucks’ AEW contracts are set to expire next year, and “when they hang it up, dude, you’re not gonna ever see these guys ever again.” In a more pressing AEW contract story, Fightful Select claims that Anthony Bowens and Max Caster’s deals with AEW are set to expire at the start of October. There apparently “haven’t been negotiations about a new deal, or word new deals will be offered.” As far as The Acclaimed is concerned, is it possible that Tony Khan is trying to free up that money for signing some notable free agents?
