AEW All Out 2026 recap & reactions: Will Ospreay is the ace
There is a new ace in AEW. His name is Will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin overcame the best Jon Moxley could dish out. All Out (Sep. 26, 2026) also featured the Young Bucks staking their case as the greatest tag team of all-time, Thekla earning a title shot, Hangman Page with crazy eyes for Swerve Strickland, the Brawling Birds living up to their name, Okada bringing the Rainmaker to PPV, and more from NOW Arena in Chicago, IL. Let’s break down All Out from top to bottom. Get full play-by-play from Claire Elizabeth. AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) defeated Jon Moxley to retain the title. I’ll get the negative out of the way quickly. In my opinion, the Death Riders style of PPV main event stinks. There’s too many people running in. The match devolves into garbage, and it takes away from the actual wrestling, which is the selling point of AEW. “Where the best wrestle.” Moving on to the positive. AEW Dynamite recap, reactions (Sep. 16, 2026): Jon Moxley is back to breaking necks
A leopard can’t change its spots. With Jon Moxley forced to follow the rules for one-on-one combat with the AEW Continental Championship, it is easy to forget that he is a killer at heart. After the main event of Dynamite (Sep. 16, 2026), Moxley went back to his neck breaking ways. There was no attempted murder on this episode thanks to Will Ospreay, but the message was sent to the world champ. Dynamite also featured Christian Cage being sleazy, Chris Jericho taking Nick Wayne’s mojo, Okada with the laugh of the night, challengers in line for the trios titles scene, and more from Chartway Arena in Norfolk, VA. Jon Moxley breaking necks Ospreay wanted the full Death Riders battalion, and it looks like he will get it. Ospreay and Moxley led trios teams to clash in the main event.
