Welcome to the weekly Rumor Look Back, where we look at the rumors from six months ago and see which played out as originally stated. Let’s jump right to it. March 20, 2026 According to WrestleVotes, WWE is optimistic that Bron Breakker will return in time for WrestleMania 42. However, there is a backup plan in place just in case he isn’t back for the show. He was back in time, though he wasn’t on the show. So not in time enough to book a match. Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer was told that Royce Keys won’t be part of Jelly Roll’s current angle on SmackDown with Kit Wilson, despite a recent rumor that says otherwise. Dave’s sources did not confirm that Roll is scheduled for a match at WrestleMania 42, even though that appears to be WWE’s direction right now. Keys was not part of that Roll segment. In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Bayley returning to Raw, Damian Priest turning on R-Truth, and Royce Keys setting the Usos’ car on fire, a lot of fortunes were changed. With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week: Stock Down #3: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan lost the women’s world championship to Stephanie Vaquer at a house show in Chile last night, thanks to crooked referee Becky Lynch. It’s doesn’t mean gloom and doom is on the horizon for Liv after losing the title in a screwjob in the babyface’s home country. Royce Keys thinks his run in WWE is going swimmingly

He was renamed Royce Keys, debuted at the Royal Rumble, and then just sort of disappeared. He did a touching interview with Stephanie McMahon but beyond that we heard nothing from or about him. Finally, he debuted on Friday Night SmackDown, went on to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, worked a number one contender match against GUNTHER, and is now involved in Bloodline business.
