WWE Stock Report: This isn’t what GUNTHER signed up for when he joined WWE
Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report. In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Solo Sikoa getting kidnapped by The 946, CM Punk not being too old to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match, and Oba Femi joining forces with Je’Von Evans to wipe out The Vision, a lot of fortunes were changed. With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week: Stock Down #3: Giulia Giulia predictably took the fall in this week’s Money in the Bank qualifying match against Charlotte Flair and Lash Legend. It’s not the ideal way to build up Giulia for Blake Monroe’s debut match, which is once again being advertised for next week’s SmackDown. Stock Down #2: GUNTHER After failing to win the WWE championship throughout the summer, GUNTHER was pinned by CM Punk in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on this

What is Penta’s ceiling in WWE?
When Penta first signed with WWE after a successful career outside the world’s largest pro wrestling promotion, it was worth wondering just how high up the card he could make it. The talent is there but would he prove to be a fit with a company that has struggled to make the most of its luchadores in the past? It didn’t take him long to win the Intercontinental title, be featured at WrestleMania, and win a tournament for the right to challenge Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship in Mexico City. His performance in the latter match was such rumors quickly got around that WWE execs started to view him as a main event level player. Now, Netflix has released its viewership for the Sept. 14 episode of Monday Night Raw and it was the highest rated episode of the show dating back to just after WrestleMania 42, at 3.1 million views. The nine week average is 2.5 million! That’s a big jump! They followed this up by having Penta replace a kidnapped Solo Sikoa in a Money in the Bank

Solo Sikoa’s kidnapping got even dumber
Look, there’s a level of silly you simply have to accept when it comes to professional wrestling in 2026. We’ve simply gone too far down the rabbit hole after so many years of Vince McMahon at the helm of WWE for so long. It’s not all on him, of course, but that hardly matters. The point is this entire thing gets pretty dumb. Like, impossibly dumb. Such is the case when they run angles like they did on Monday Night Raw this week, where Solo Sikoa was kidnapped by the gang known as 946. They snagged him right before he could make his entrance for a scheduled Money in the Bank qualifying match. How did WWE play this? General Manager Adam Pearce simply replaced Sikoa with Penta — who went on to win the match to great fanfare — and moved on with his life. Raw recap & reactions (Sept. 21, 2026): A kidnapping 946 will go
Warning WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!? 😱 Solo Sikoa has been TAKEN!!! pic.twitter.com/goDZBxaN8p — WWE (@WWE) September 22, 2026 Jimmy & Jey Uso aren’t ready for 946. That’s my main takeaway from this week’s edition of TKO’s Monday wrestling program. On the one hand, they’re always ready to run plays. On the other, their cousin Jacob Fatu constantly tells them to chill. And then 946 does a thing that proves Jacob correct. Now, in fairness to The Usos, Jacob isn’t really answering their questions. We’re in a rinse and repeat when it comes to their segments: He tells them they need to chill, they ask why, he doesn’t explain why, then walks away disapprovingly when they “don’t get it.” I mean, how could they know that turning away Solo Sikoa’s offer to ban together would result in 946 kidnapping their baby brother? Penta qualifies for Money in the Bank after Solo Sikoa kidnapped
You gotta love pro wrestling. The 946 crew are still running amok in WWE, and this week they decided to set their sights on Solo Sikoa. Just before he was going to make his entrance for the Money in the Bank triple threat qualifying match, he was assaulted and then kidnapped. That meant he wouldn’t be available to take on Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee. WWE didn’t call the match off, of course. They simply replaced him with another super over wrestler who just came off a tremendous performance in Mexico City one week ago, and opened this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw by saying he wasn’t done with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and wants another crack at it. Penta. Even without the title, you wouldn’t need me to tell you who won the ensuing match. I’ll do it with a phrase. CERO MIEDO.
