AEW All Out 2026 recap & reactions: Will Ospreay is the ace
There is a new ace in AEW. His name is Will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin overcame the best Jon Moxley could dish out. All Out (Sep. 26, 2026) also featured the Young Bucks staking their case as the greatest tag team of all-time, Thekla earning a title shot, Hangman Page with crazy eyes for Swerve Strickland, the Brawling Birds living up to their name, Okada bringing the Rainmaker to PPV, and more from NOW Arena in Chicago, IL. Let’s break down All Out from top to bottom. Get full play-by-play from Claire Elizabeth. AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) defeated Jon Moxley to retain the title. I’ll get the negative out of the way quickly. In my opinion, the Death Riders style of PPV main event stinks. There’s too many people running in. The match devolves into garbage, and it takes away from the actual wrestling, which is the selling point of AEW. “Where the best wrestle.” Moving on to the positive. The hottest woman in AEW is now coming for Mercedes Moné’s world title
AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné isn’t cleared to compete after suffering a broken nose when she won the title last month at All in. Former champions Thekla and Willow Nightingale fought each other tonight (Sept. 26) at All Out to determine the number one contender for Mone’s return to the ring next month (Oct. 17) at WrestleDream. Willow entered the match with a broken hand, and that injury proved to be her downfall. The finish first saw the Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue & Julia Hart) interfere and target Willow’s hand.
